This was our prototype of complete vertical design of pallet recycling equipment, for your shop. Introduced in 1991, it promised to cut required floor-space for equipment. EVERY spot in pallet recycling facility can be vertical. Ask to see our complete system of all phases of pallet-repair.
Notice the small amount of required floor-space, for this otherwise LONG machine.
IF SPACE IS A PROBLEM IN YOUR SHOP, SEE DESIGNS OF OUR COMPLETE SYSTEM !!
As you can see, our Over'n'Under cutterhead easily shears all nails on a single-stringer with each vertical stroke, allowing stringer to exit unit at the top. A natural possibility was mentioned at the time, of adding three more of our unique heads, mounted on a single solid-bar. This preceded ALL other bar-mounted cutterheads, even our later HALF-PALLET AND "TOTAL" units
Several methods of "top-exiting" are possible, for stringers. The most natural board-removal, of course, is a simple gravity-drop onto a moving conveyor, both front and back of the machine.
Safety-shielding is another "first" offered on many of RIPJAK's machines, not usually shown on competitive units.
Notice the separate power-source for this prototype machine (behind). Another possibility for economical use of power for multiple machines and related functions, is simple plumbing to be run to various units from one or more central power-sources, with a function control at each unit.
